Environmental Policy
Sonographers Medical is a Recruitment Business specialising in the provision of temporary and permanent Allied Health Professionals and Health Science Service staff to the NHS and private healthcare facilities with in the UK. Sonographers Medical is a member of the National "Buying Solutions" Framework Agreement for the supply of locum AHP and HSS staff to the NHS, as well as holders of several Preferred Supplier agreements across the country.
All services are operated from our East London Offices, by a team of 4 Recruiters and one Administrative Assistant
Sonographers Medical recognises its’ responsibility to respect and protect the environment and will strive to achieve environmental best practice throughout its business activity.
Sonographers Medical shall ensure its operations comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice.
To achieve these aims, Sonographers Medical shall routinely analyse the environmental impact of current and planned operations in an effort to improve environmental performance by the reduction of pollutants, emissions and waste, as well as reduced use of energy, raw materials and supplies.
Sonographers Medical shall make all reasonable effort to raise awareness, encourage participation and train employees in environmental matters, and shall expect similar standards to be maintained by suppliers and contractors.Sonographers Medical shall offer advice to customers on the use of services in an environmentally-sensitive manner and encourage and participate in discussions on environmental issues.
Sonographers Medical shall ensure that the travel requirements of staff and contractors working through our offices are kept to a minimum. The geographical location of a particular client shall be of prime consideration in the placement of individual staff and contractors on the premises, secondary only to the professional capabilities of those individuals. Sonographers Medical shall encourage all staff and contractors working through our offices to maximise the use of public transport when making journeys to and from work, and when on any other company business.
This Environmental policy shall be reviewed on an Annual basis by the Company’s Senior Management and amendments made where an improvement in environmental benefit is anticipated by such amendment.
