We are seeking a Sonographer with the experience to perform, interpret and report Carotid screening Scans, for a one month contract in Nigeria.
The Sonographer must also be willing to train local staff, to continue the service at the end of the one month period.
FOC Accommodation in local hotel will be provided, as will return economy air travel. Assistance will be given to obtaining all necessary visa’s and health requirements.
There is the opportunity for occasional continued involvement with the project later, but this is not compulsory.
The service will involve a Sonographer performing Carotid Artery scans, working in conjunction with a Nurse who will perform blood pressure, ECG and other tests on the same clients. The aim is to provide instruction for local qualified Sonographers who can then take over the service at the end of the placement.
This placement will be ideal for any suitably experienced Sonographer who would like to travel to Africa, but be paid a competitive wage.
