Qualification:	A formal degree level Occupational Therapy is mandatory.
State Registration:	HPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.

We are seeking a suitable qualified and experienced Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist for the Hampshire and Isle of Wright NHS trust.

 

The right Occupational Therapist must be prepare to take on the Responsability to lead and help develop the Service in this exciting and challenging time. You will need to be an effective team leader who can provide clinical support, whilst being an exciting co-ordinator and communicator.

You will have the opportunity to develop the service by expanding the existing treatment programmes, introducing new clinics (eg motor skills, sensory) and assessing children for Continuing Healthcare funding.

As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will be expected to have excellent clinical skills and specialist knowledge in assessment and treatment over a range of Paediatric conditions, including Sensory Processing Disorder. 

The Client has recently made stronger links with other Paediatric services, enabling them to share expertise and knowledge through in-service training, shadowing and sharing best practice regarding pathways. They are also keen to support clinical audit and research.
